This Extravagant Margarita Comes with a Diamond and Security

A restaurant in London, England, is serving up an extremely extravagant margarita that features a 4.1-carat diamond. The luxurious beverage can be ordered at Cantina Laredo in Covent Garden and must be ordered in advance. In addition to the diamond and the drink, patrons that order this amazing margarita will be given two security guards to protect the drinker and their precious stone. The diamond garnish floats on a pineapple flower and comes from the legendary Beards jewelers on Bond Street.

While a lot of focus seems to be placed on the diamond, the margarita itself is no slouch in terms of cost. The cocktail blends Jose Cuervo Platino and the ultra-rare 1800 Colección. Instead of limes, this margarita uses juice from rare white pineapples and limequats, a hybrid of a lime and kumquat. The final touches to the cocktail come in the form of a finger lime garnish, also known as 'lime caviar.' This extravagant margarita is currently available and will cost £50,000 or $69,300.
