Skyy Vodka is Giving Canadians the Chance to Land in California

Advertising agency BBDO developed Skyy Vodka's newest campaign called 'Claim Your Cali' and it's about to turn some Canadians into a real estate moguls in California. Canadians can head into liquor stores to purchase bottles of Skyy Vodka with a special neck tag that has a unique pin, which can be entered on the ClaimYourCali.ca website to see if they've won the deed to the land. According to Marketing Mag, the vodka brand is looking at giving away as many as 1,000 square feet of pieces of land.

Skyy Vodka brand manager John Anderson indicated there are several goals to the campaign: impressing on Canadians that the brand was born in California, increasing brand awareness in its Millennial target market and connecting with consumers in a novel way. The unique marketing campaign is off to a great start as 600 plots of land have already been claimed in its first month.
