Emoji-Decoding Challenges

GE is Launching #EmojiScience on Facebook Messenger

In honor of World Emoji Daym GE is launching #EmojiScience to challenge players to decode science terms and phases expressed in emoji. The challenge takes place on Facebook Messenger with the GE chatbot, named Dot the Bot after Thomas Edison's daughter.

To begin the challenge, players simply message "Hi Dot" to GE on Facebook Messenger and then the chatbot sends the first emoji code to be deciphered. Players can choose to answer, skip or ask for a hint. The #EmojiScience game contains 30 emoji codes and the score is based on correct answers, number of hints used and skips. 'Emoji Geniuses' will be eligible to win a summer emoji swag bag from GE. The emoji challenge is a creative way for GE to celebrate World Emoji Day and a great way to engage Millennials and Gen Z in brand awareness.
