In a tongue and cheek emoji campaign, pizza chain Domino's is trying to raise awareness and promote the literacy of emoticons. Following the recent announcement that you can order Domino's pizza by texting them a pizza emoji, the CP + B Emoji Literacy campaign is trying to help more consumers understand what the symbols mean.

Mimicking other awareness initiatives for important causes, Domino's cites statistics (40% of Americans can't read or write emoji) and even created a PSA parody. Flash cards are also for sale as part of the emoji campaign, to help more people learn what the various emoticons mean.
