Condiment Emoji Petitions

On World Emoji Day, Zaxby's is Campaigning for the "Saucemoji"

This World Emoji Day, Zaxby's launched a petition to create the world's first sauce emoji, the "Saucemoji, and it's inviting all sauce lovers to sign it. While there are thousands of emojis that have been created, including many to represent favorite food and drinks, there has yet to be a sauce emoji added to the Unicode keyboard. The saucy chicken chain hopes to change this with its petition, and as chief marketing and strategy officer Patrick Schwing says, "Zaxby's is starting a movement to elevate sauce to emoji status."

The brand known for its Zax Sauce wants to build the case for Saucemoji across social media, bringing attention to the fact that there's no easy way to convey sauce with emojis yet there are plenty of emojis that are less useful.
