Emelie Voirin has created a Minimal Nativity Set that, in the words of the designer, is designed to appeal to both Christians and atheists. The set is made from beech wood and has the names of the characters from the nativity scene in black capital letters. While the blocks all look alike, they do differ in size. This could be related to their importance in the scene itself or due to the fact that baby Jesus isn't physically as tall as Joseph.

The idea behind the Minimal Nativity Set is that the owner gets to use their imagination. This nativity scene looks a lot like the one created by Oliver Fabel, although Voirin's work is a little fancier and comes in a nice box. Emelie Voirin is available to order via email from her site.
