Plant-Based Soft Serve Mixes

Elmhurst Creamery Dairy-Free Oat Milk Ice Cream Mix is Customizable

Elmhurst 1925 is introducing Elmhurst Creamery New Fashioned Soft-Serve Ice Cream Mix as a simple way for people to make plant-based soft serve at home. The dairy-free mixes are made with Elmhurst Oat Milk—which combines just three simple ingredients: water, oats and salt—and Heba Mahmoud, VP of Marketing at Elmhurst, describes it as "nostalgic, old fashioned ice cream with a new fashioned dairy-free, vegan twist."

The New Fashioned Soft-Serve Ice Cream Mix in Vanilla or Chocolate can be stored in the fridge, shaken, then poured into a home ice cream maker to create a simple, dairy-free frozen treat. Naturally, there's plenty of customizations that can be made to these base mixes by adding everything from fresh fruit or chocolate chips, cookie chunks or granola.
