Many electronic stores provide a handful of stations where consumers can play around with the devices on display. But The Source's location in Toronto Yorkdale Shopping Centre was specifically crafted to create "hands-on, tech-centric" experiences.
Taking cues from modern Apple and Microsoft stores, The Source found that its old store designs were quickly becoming outdated. At the front of the retail space, the front display features an array of content to bring shoppers up-to-date on the hottest products, playing up the brand's tagline, "I Want That."
In the store, products are organized by categories that make it easy to create in-store demos. Stations include places where shoppers can test headphones, tablets and phones that can be touched, picked up and played with.
