Mediterranean Eggplant Dips

Pelagonia's Malidzano is Like a Thinner Version of Baba Ganoush

Malidzano is a smoky Mediterranean eggplant dip that takes after the style of Baba Ganoush, but without the inclusion of thick tahini paste and sesame oil. In order to round out the flavors of this aubergine puree, the Malidzano dip from Pelagonia is also enhanced with a few other simple ingredients: green peppers, sunflower oil, mustard and salt. In comparison to Baba Ganoush, this dip is described as light and fresh, yet incredibly flavorful.

In terms of some of the applications of this eggplant dip, it can be used as a spread over toast or served as a dip to enhance a variety of snacks.

Malidzano is commonly prepared with eggplants, cheese, walnuts, garlic and spices, but this Pelagonia product presents an alternative plant-based version of the spread.
