The grab-and-go meal market is expanding at an exponential rate with more brands getting involved than ever with the options under the Eataly Pronto brand being some of the latest. The new line of products from the eatery includes sandwiches, salads and other lunch fare that is all priced between $6 and $13 to make it appropriate for those who want to pick up something affordably priced midday.
Lunchtime meal options usually consist of fast food or overpriced takeout, which has seen brands that offer affordable, healthy options experience distinct favoring by urban consumers. The Eataly Pronto products are an example of this and are being test piloted from the brand's Manhattan location in New York City with an expansion expected if sales are positive.
