Nobu Hospitality Opens a Location in Portugal's Eastern Algarve

Nobu Hospitality, the globally renowned luxury lifestyle and dining brand, has officially announced its plans to develop a comprehensive new destination at the Monte Rei resort in Portugal's Eastern Algarve. This project encompasses a hotel, a signature restaurant, private villas, and branded residences.

Nobu Hospitality's upcoming venture, which is anticipated to begin construction in 2027 and welcome its first guests in 2029, marks the brand's second location in Portugal and represents a significant expansion of its European portfolio. The property at the country's Eastern Algarve introduces a fresh interpretation of the Nobu lifestyle to the country's southern coast. The development will serve as the centerpiece of a larger investment initiative led by Norfin, which aims to transform Monte Rei into a more complete, year-round resort destination while preserving the privacy and authentic character that have long been its hallmarks.
