Beer-Tasting Train Tours

The Durango Brew Train Takes Beer Lovers Through the Colorado Mountains

Beer and travel go hand-in-hand, and now you can do both at the same time thanks to the Durango Brew Train. Combining the best of train travel with the fun of a brewery crawl, the tour is the ultimate adventure for beer lovers.

The Durango Brew Train is a beer-tasting experience that takes place aboard a 1920's steam locomotive. Crusing through the Animas Valley and into the San Juan National Forest, guests will be able to take in stunning views of the Colorado mountains while local craft brewers walk them through hands-on beer tastings. In addition to sampling local brews and learning more about the beer-making process, guests will also enjoy a two-hours lunch at the Canyon, complete with Bavarian food, live music, and of course, more beer.

With partner breweries including Brew, Steamworks, Ska, Animas Brewing Company, and Carvers Brewing, and more, the trip offers a unique way to explore the state's crew brewing scene.
