Franco-Danish artistic duo OrtaMiklos created a fantastical and post-modern installation at Design Miami. The exhibit was aptly named 'Decadence' and was inspired by Thomas Couture’s 1847 painting 'The Romans in Their Decadence.'
The exhibit features an atypical living-room scene, with a coffee table, lamp, chair, and couch. The exquisite table features a glass top with vine-like legs in yellow, orange, and black. The dream-like chair uses red spheres as legs, with a colorful seat. The couch is a whimsical lounger with pink and purple supports and white cushions while the lamp has a contemporary look, with a tree-like base and a rock-like light fixture.
OrtaMiklo's exhibit 'Decadence' will be on display until June 16 at in Hall 1.1, booth G18, at Design Miami.
