This drip water filter is inspired by coffee maker design. Currently seeking finances via crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, KOR developed a Water Fall System that purifies water by separating the filter from the container.
The creators at KOR noted a couple problems with current methods of water filtration. When the filter stays in the containers even when it's done filtering, a limited amount of water can be filtered at one time. This is solved with their drip water filter system.
The stand alone filter is placed over top of a 1 liter glass pitcher, which collects the pure water. A second pitcher also comes included so you can use it to pour water over the filter and into the second receptacle. This lets you fill multiple pitchers at a time.
