The Domino's Tracker pizza-order tracking system capability is being brought to Amazon Echo as part of a concerted publicity push by the two companies leading up to this Sunday's big Superbowl.
The initiative makes it possible for customers to order their pizza from any location using Amazon Echo's futuristic and convenient wireless speaker and voice command system, before using Domino's Tracker capability to track the status of their order from the comfort of their couch.
The timing of the Domino's Tracker-Amazon Echo tie-up is pure genius, seeing as how the Superbowl is possibly the pizza company's busiest and most high-volume delivery days of the year, making it a great time for it to push its visibility. There's no question that the merging of voice-control and pizza delivery will appeal to tech-minded pizza enthusiasts.
