Popular delivery service DoorDash recently announced the introduction of an adorable new feature called DoggyDash. Instead of relying on humans to deliver important packages, the company is now enlisting a fleet of speedy pooches.

According to DoorDash's blog, the company has been training a fleet of delivery dogs to drop off its packages in a quick and efficient manner. According to the company, dogs are superior to human delivery people because "their keen sense of smell can recognize all your favorite restaurants, meaning unparalleled order accuracy every time." In addition, the dogs will provide a friendly greeting that is unmatched by even the most chipper delivery people.

Unfortunately the pooch-powered delivery service is an April Fool's Day prank, meaning DoorDash customers should not expect a four-legged creature to show up with their next delivery.
