This dog beer brand identity exemplifies how much packaging has changed in the alcohol industry over the past generation. The typical label used to look well-established and formal by comparison, whereas this one is punchy, playful and has nothing to do with beer at all.
Designed by Marcelo Siqueira of Brazil, Dodge Dog Beer packaging expresses an exercised creativity that is encouraged in contemporary beer branding, enabling some beverages to stand out against an otherwise uniform line of brown or green glass bottles. On one of these dog beer stickers is the image of a fire hydrant, with the entirety of the label awash in vibrant red ink. Another is bright yellow, and features the face of an animated pooch. Both are illustrated with a hint of humor, and bound to pique the interest of the consumer.
