With the introduction of The Doctor and the Dalek, the BBC is turning to a beloved time traveler in order to help teach kids to code. As well as providing entertainment to tons of adults and kids around the world, now, the Doctor Who franchise will be working to support the English computing curriculum.
What's neat about the game is that it will feature the voice of the current Doctor that stars in the series, Peter Capaldi. Activities in the interactive game will include tasks like following instruction combinations, as well as changing repetitions and loops in puzzle games. Since this game will tie in education with an extremely successful TV show, this should be a great way to get kids enthused about learning to code.
