Merging modern marketing techniques, innovative speaker systems and musical entertainment, Icona Pop released its newest song through a private digital concert in an interactive collaboration with Samsung.
Experienced by just 360 lucky fans, the Swedish electric pop band livestreamed a performance of 'F.U' to fans watching from their smartphones, tablets or computers. With microphones and cameras around the circular stage, the 360-degree effect mimicked that of Samsung's new R7 360-degree speakers.
In the co-branded campaign facilitated by DDB Stockholm ad agency, Samsung's newest speaker system was also unveiled, emphasizing the R7's 360 sound capabilities. Letting listeners experience the same quality of sound from any area of a room, the centrally-placed speakers are revolutionary to the audio and entertainment world.
With this new innovation, Samsung introduces a new way of product marketing.
