Detective Pikachu Returns Unveils its Latest Trailer

The Pokémon Company unveils a slew of updates recently including a brand new trailer for the upcoming Detective Pikachu Returns. This is the highly anticipated sequel that is set to join Nintendo Switch later this year on October 6th. The Pokémon game recasts the mascot and he is seen embarking on a journey with his current partner Tim Goodman.

Notably, Goodman can actually understand Pikachu and the duo solve a string of unusual incidents with the assistance of other -- humans and Pokémons. The main focus this time around is the coffee-drinking Pikachu dialed in to find out what happened to his missing partner, Harry, who also happens to be Tim's dad. The trailer showcases some of the gameplay that can be expected as well.
