It is set to arrive on Switch in 2025 -- the game is developed by Game Freak and there is currently minimal information released about the upcoming game.
The company describes it as “an exciting new adventure” and “an ambitious new entry.” With the announcement is a special trailer that sees an urban redevelopment plan that takes place in a dark metro location. It was revealed that this is Lumiose City and the renovation project in the game world works to help Pokémons and humans live together in harmony within the thriving landscape.
