Sea glass is a material that can be found on beaches around the world and is essential small portions of glass that have been polished by the currents into small gems, and Denyse Terio collects the small charms to use them in creating some astounding works of art.
Working off of the acadian coast of Canada, Terio quit her job in the media industry to focus on her passion for sea glass, which is indeed beyond being a simple hobby. Her portfolio includes famous works like the Mona Lisa imagined in sea glass form as well as bombshell actress Marilyn Monroe.
Terio uses a black canvas to place the sea glass onto, which slowly but surely becomes a work of art make completely out of recycled material.
