Flowering Public Bubblers

The Daffodil Fountain by Jessica Carver Provides Refreshing Water

Although the primary purpose of the Daffodil Fountain is to provide a refreshing bit of drinking water for the public, it does so in such an artistic way that people may mistake it for an outdoor art installation instead. As its name suggests, the Daffodil Fountain is inspired by a flower. In place of the typical concrete or metal base and basic from which the water comes out of and falls back in, the Daffodil Fountain boasts a petal-like design.

Designed by Jessica Carver, the Daffodil Fountain is made out of metal and fiberglass, the latter of which makes it much more cost effective to make. According to Yanko Design, "[T]he petals can be changed regularly to promote local artists or generate income from sponsored advertisers."
