Vibrant Public London Fountains

Neon Introduces a Sculptural Water Feature in London

Neon has designed a 4.3-meter fountain for Brent Cross Town that uses stacked solid-surface plates to form a structured installation shaped for consistent water flow. The bright green plates are offset in a vertical arrangement that channels water across multiple levels before it reaches the shallow basin at the base. The feature is built from durable outdoor-rated materials and uses a clear geometric configuration to maintain stability, visibility, and long-term performance within a public square. The design prioritises material uniformity, straightforward construction, and a defined silhouette suited to open urban space.

The fountain operates as a permanent landmark by offering predictable circulation patterns shaped by the angled plates. Its height provides visibility from various entry points, and the stepped arrangement creates distinct cascades depending on where visitors stand. The installation supports the district’s overall planning goals by establishing a fixed orientation point and a reliable gathering location integrated into the surrounding development.
