Whimsical Nature-Inspired Playscapes

Moment Factory Has Designed and Produced Curiosity Cove

Curiosity Cove is Singapore's largest indoor nature-inspired playscape. Located within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve and designed by Moment Factory, this whimsical destination offers an attraction where children aged three to twelve can explore immersive, hypernatural environments that blend physical and digital elements to spark curiosity about the natural world.

Curiosity Cove's 4,600-square-meter space features 32 multisensory touchpoints across four thematic zones, including a six-meter-tall orangutan climbing platform, a 27-meter-long snake belly maze, and a musical tree that responds to movement. Technology is thoughtfully embedded into architectural elements to create a unified 'phygital' environment.

Moment Factory's design process included user testing with children to ensure intuitive circulation and engaging textures, while dedicated calm zones accommodate varying sensitivities and abilities. Families visiting Singapore would be drawn to Curiosity Cove because it offers a year-round, weather-proof destination that complements the reserve's outdoor wildlife parks.
