Cuff Studio's presentation at Offsite Online—the virtual show that is launched in collaboration with Sight Unseen and VDF—is rather interesting. Dubbed 'The Common Ground,' the capsule boasts two table silhouettes, a bench and armchair design, as well as a light. When developing the aesthetic for the pieces, Cuff Studio focused on balancing out the characteristics of traditional genders.
The furniture presents a juxtaposition of "angular architectural shapes," which are thought to bring masculine elements, and "playful, feminine touches." Through 'The Common Ground' project, Cuff Studio hopes to exhibit that it is possible "for contrasts to co-exist comfortably."
