Cottage Life's Summer Edition Features a Color-In Cover

The widespread popularity of adult coloring books inspired Cottage Life magazine to create a special cover for its Summer 2016 issue. The magazine comes in two types, including one that features a photographic cover and a second that is covered by line illustrations from artist Alëna Skarina.

Readers who get their hands on the black and white version are encouraged to fill in the lines as they see fit and post their creative designs to Twitter or Instagram using the #CottageLifeColours tag. Winning entries will be published by Cottage Life magazine and receive a set of Cottage Life Weekend Collection candles.

Outside of dedicated coloring books, wallpaper and suitcases are a few other adult-focused color-in products that can now be purchased.
