Going for contemporary colors and clean lines, the just launched The Freehouse restaurant and brewpub has an appealing and contemporary brand identity.

Part of Minneapolis's Blue Plate Restaurant Company, The Freehouse is its latest venture and the brand wanted to go for something completely different. That's why the team brought on design and branding firm Bolster to help develop and create a contemporary brand identity and overall experience for the restaurant and brewpub.

Deciding to take an old-fashioned and nostalgically American approach to the branding, Bolster were able to get the balance just right between old handcrafted American aesthetic and a modern vibe.

The Freehouse is located in a pre-prohibition, turn-of-the-century warehouse, which gives the place an authentic early industrialization look. The artistry touch of the architecture mixed with the modern and utilitarian design help give the place the perfect contemporary brand identity.
