American Girl is Auctioning Off Dolls with Swarovski Crystals

American Girl created three one-of-a-kind collectible dolls that are decorated with thousands of Swarovski crystals and they will be auctioned off so that 100% of the net proceeds can support the First Responders Children’s Foundation Toy Express program. Each of the dolls sports a crystal-studded gown and sparkling accessories that took Swarovski couturiers over 330 hours to design and embellish by hand.

The dolls feature more than 5,000 Swarovski crystals and crystal beads in 24 colors and the bidding for each American Girl Collector doll starts at $5,000. The 2020 American Girl Collector Dolls include Sweet as a Rose, Boho Chic and Fuchsia Feathers.

This season, one of the three one-of-a-kind American Girl Collector dolls will be on display at the company’s flagship retail stores in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
