The Coca-Cola KeelClip Packaging Focuses on Recyclability

The Coca-Cola KeelClip packaging has been announced as a new move from the brand to help shift its product towards a completely recyclable future.

The new packaging move was announced by Coca-Cola HBC and Coca-Cola European Partners, and will be rolling out across Europe to eliminate packaging from can multipacks. The shift towards recyclable multipacks means that the entire packaging design for the soda will be accepted through municipal programs to further eliminate the use of unnecessary plastic. The KeelClip was designed by GPI and works to keep cans clean, while also streamlining carrying by strategically placed finger holes.

The Coca-Cola KeelClip packaging was boasted by Group Supply Chain Director of Coca-Cola HBC Marcel Martin who said, "KeelClip is our latest investment in innovative, sustainable packaging solutions. Alongside the four water brands we introduced this year in 100% recycled PET bottles, the increased use of recycled PET and continued light weighting across the portfolio, KeelClip is another demonstration of our commitment to delivering our World Without Waste goals.”
