In part of a deal with Google Daydream, Vogue is launching a new series of virtual reality closet tours called 'Supermodel Closets.' Kendall Jenner invited Vogue into her closet for a 360-degree tour that shows off accessories, clothing items and shoes, all in the span of just four minutes. For the ultimate viewing experience, the virtual reality videos are best enjoyed with a Daydream View VR headset or a Google Cardboard.
With 4K imagery, 360-degree views and the ability to fit into tight spaces, Google's Jump camera shows off one of the many potential uses for VR in the fashion industry, especially when it comes to capturing closets and other spaces that are small in scale.
In all, Vogue is set to share five Supermodel Closets, including other public figures like Cindy Crawford.
