The Class Premier August 2012 Cover Features the World's Best Chef

Mexican studio Golpeavisa has made a full-scale food portrait of René Redzepi for the Class Premier August 2012 cover, claiming that René is the world's best chef.

Usually the covers for the Class Premier issues are illustrations or digital drawings, but this month the magazine decided to do something a little bit out of the ordinary. It set out to do a photographic illustration that consisted of various food dishes, wines and dish wares all laid out on a dinning room table. All the items on the table were positioned in such a way to resemble a silhouette of the famous chef René Redzepi.

Check out the video above to see the process for creating the cover image in a cool time-lapse short film.
