Meatless Pork Noodle Kits

XCJ's Newest Noodle Kits Feature Impossible Foods’ Plant-Based Pork

Noodle kit company Xiao Chi Jie (XCJ) is reimagining classic Chinese dishes with Impossible Foods’ plant-based pork. There are two new vegan dishes that were made possible with the meatless pork alternative: Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles and Beijing Zha Jiang Noodles. Each of these new noodle kits comes with wheat noodles and sauces, as well as toppings that can be prepared in about 10 minutes and only a pot is needed for boiling water.

"Nearly every province of China has a noodle dish that stands as a pride and joy of that region,” said Jennifer Liao, one of the second-generation Chinese Americans who founded XCJ, “They’re often symbolic and represent Chinese seasons and beliefs—like eating longevity noodles on your birthday or spicy noodles in the hot summers to fight heat with heat.”
