The famed Chile-based architecture practice Pezo von Ellrichschausen has come up with a solid but elegant dwelling, dubbed Loba House, that is the consummate Chilean house in that it blends in perfectly with the South American country's uniquely picturesque nature while making use of rugged materials to withstand the elements.

This Chilean house is actually a vacation dwelling, and comprises a series of columns that are designed to make the main space look and feel like a series of segments.

Loba House also features unique design elements in the form of horizontal concrete beams that contain a guest bedroom as well as an office area, each of which can be accessed by a novel ladder.

Filled with character and utility, Loba House makes for an excellent vacation dwelling.
