Hebra Arquitectos Completed the Palo Quemado Home in Chile

— March 13, 2025 — Art & Design
Chilean design studio Hebra Arquitectos has completed a house dubbed Palo Quemado. It is located in southern Chile and is defined by its native oak cladding topped by faceted roofs. It laps out along the V-shaped site which overlooks captivating views of the lake.

The project is made for a couple -- the clients wanted a holiday home that had plenty of space that would provide comfort for visits from their three adult daughters. The design studio explains more about the design process, noting "In search of a relationship with the site, native woods were used – hualle oak for the exterior and interior cladding, and coigüe for the furniture doors in the common areas."
