Designer Yu Liu has studied the ideal posture for mothers to give birth, and the bed or the bathtub didn't make the cut. Liu's 'Fountain of Life' child delivery birth pool combines the best of both worlds in providing pain-free safety and sterility while removing the possibility of any messiness that might be created if the baby is delivered at home.
After studying the position of mothers giving birth, Liu designed the Fountain of Life in a hexagonal shape. The pool features an easy to navigate interface that controls temperature, water flow and water quality, as well as strategically placed handles and foot rests that allow the mother to lay in relaxation. UV lights installed help to sterilize the pool when not in use, with a water filtration system that cleans the water when it's in use.
