A Team of Designers Create the Floatis Concept

A team of designers made up of Dami Seo, Hyeonsu Yu, and Gagyeong Min worked together to come up with the Floatis concept. It is a floating water purifier with a focus on the lotus flower as inspiration. This theme is translated in its form and its function.

It is now only a concept -- a design that floats from the surface and then turns the dirty water into something that is much safer for consumption. There are two main parts that make up Floatis: the wide green bowl, which floats like a lotus leaf and the cylindrical purifier hidden under the water's surface. The design collects water from below and once it is filled, it is stored inside the reservoir. Press the middle of he bowl and clean water fills the top of the container.
