The Taco Bell Naked Chicken Chalupa is set to debut at the end of January at locations across the country as a limited-time menu item. The new offering consists of a chalupa that has had the traditional shell replaced in favor of one that is made entirely using chicken meat. The chicken used to create the new menu item is raised without the use of antibiotics to satisfy a growing consumer preference for more natural food alternatives.
The Taco Bell Naked Chicken Chalupa is set to be available individually for $2.99 as well as part of the $5 Box, which will include the Naked Chicken Chalupa, the Doritos Locos, a Crunchy Taco and a medium drink. The new chalupa will be filled with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, a creamy avocado ranch sauce and cheddar cheese.
