'Millie' Makes It Easy for Millennials to Support Various Nonprofits

In the same way that online daters swipe to find potential matches, Millie functions as a swipe-based, Millennial-targeted charity app that makes it quick and easy for users to support nonprofits.

After adding money to their Millie Wallet, users are presented with a selection of nonprofits on a weekly basis. When a user spots a cause that is close to their heart, they are able to swipe to the right to make a donation in an amount of their choosing. Millie integrates an on-screen timer to show the remaining days and minutes that an offering will be shown before it is replaced by something new. Additionally, Millie uses a social feed so that users can see when others are giving in real-time and earn badges as part of the app's gamified giving system.
