Smitten Raised $10 Million USD to Expand its Market and Userbase

'Smitten' is a Gen Z and Millennial-focused dating app that places interactivity at the forefront of matches. Users can set up various games for their matches to play, such as two truths and a lie or a ten-question quiz called a 'Guessary.' Then, when someone matches with them, the person will be able to play the lie detector game or attempt to answer the Guessary. After this is complete, the results will be posted directly into the matches' conversation, effectively breaking the ice and skipping the awkward first stage of initiating conversation.

Smitten announced that it completed a Series A round of funding totaling $10 million USD. The company noted that it will leverage these funds to expand its market presence into new regions while attracting new userbase, effectively increasing the attractiveness of its application to far more individuals on the dating market.
