Over the past few years, cauliflower has become a satisfying gluten-free stand-in for everything from white rice to conventional pizza crusts—and now, Cali'flour Foods is introducing a new kind of snack in the form of cauliflower crackers.
The brand's Cauliflower Thins are offered in three varieties, Hot & Spicy, Classic and Italian Herbs, all of which are low in carbs and high in protein. This is due to the fact that the first three ingredients that go into the making of these crackers are almonds, egg whites and cauliflower. Following these ingredients, the simple recipe also includes chia seeds and lentil flour for a product that's completely free from grains, dairy, added sugar, artificial preservatives and as Cali'flour Foods puts it, "no nonsense."
A serving size of six crackers provides a snacker with five grams of protein, two grams of carbs and 90 calories.
