Cathedral City Snack Packs Will Now Feature Recyclable Trays

The Cathedral City snack packs will now be packaged with recyclable white PET packaging in a bid to help make the products more eco-friendly and suited for consumer preferences. The packaging will be launched across the brands Cathedral City with Pickle and Cathedral City Lunchpacks, and use up to 33% less plastic while also containing as much as 80% recycled material. The new packaging move is part of the brand's shift towards more sustainability as it shifts towards larger overarching goals.

Marketing Controller Neil Stewart spoke on the Cathedral City snack packs packaging and beyond saying, "In the UK, it is our ambition for our consumer-facing packaging to be 100% recyclable by 2022. Our research and development team is working incredibly hard to develop new packaging solutions that can be recycled in standard household recycling collections in the future, while providing the same quality, protection and safety as our existing packaging.”
