The Castomize TessaCast has been developed by the Singapore-based startup as a healthcare cast that's designed as an update to the original to incorporate modernized benefits. The cast is achieved through what the company calls a 4D printing process, which sees it 3D printed using thermoplastic materials before being heated and applied to the patient at the arm, wrist or leg. The cast will then become pliable to ensure the right fit and doesn't require any casting tape or plaster to be positioned.
