The entire country of Chile is basically a coastline, so Casa Tuman is designed to take advantage of one of the national pastimes that naturally arose from such topology: surfing. The family holiday home offers both convenient access to and breathtaking views of Puertecillo Beach, a pristine stretch about 175 kilometers southwest of Santiago.
Not only is Casa Tuman practical for the active family of surfers who use it for their vacations, but it's also aesthetically marvelous. The hideaway is clad in panels of eucalyptus bark around the entire facade, helping it to blend seamlessly with the surrounding forest. The private rooms in the home open to a communal deck with ocean views, and the residents also have access to a grass-topped roof for a higher vantage point.
