Stuart Fitzwilliam recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for an anxiety-alleviating card game called 'Cards for Calm.' While card games are usually associated with fun and entertainment, Fitzwilliam believes that they can also be a valuable tool for addressing mental health issues.
Cards for Calm is a card game that is designed to help players address negative thinking and behaviors. The game itself consists of 24 Behavior cards that help players identify areas of their life they would like to improve and 24 Action cards that help players explore new behaviors. The idea is that the game will help players confront underlying issues and think about ways to address them.
With a growing demand for tools that can help to combat stress and anxiety, this card game offers a low-tech way to cultivate mindfulness.
