Petit Navire and ALGAMA Foods' Cap Végétal is Rich in Protein and Omegas

In collaboration with microalgae startup ALGAMA Foods, French seafood brand Petit Navire launched a plant-based fish product range called Cap Végétal. In the range, consumers looking for alternative, plant-powered protein sources will find canned, marinated plant-based fish in flavorful varieties like Olives & Oregano, Lemon & Thyme, and Tomatoes & Herbs.

These 100% plant-based fish alternatives are made with ingredients like wheat, soy, algae oil and sea lettuce to deliver the omegas and protein health-conscious, environmentally conscious and ethically aware consumers are after.

In the Carrefour-exclusive Cap Végétal range, ALGAMA Foods and Petit Navire also debuted two ready-to-eat salads featuring plant-based fish, one with a base of bulgur, chickpeas, peppers and pumpkin seeds, and the other with lentils, corn, peas and peppers.
