To help people arrive to the Cannes 2014 in style, Uber is taking its app-ordered car service to the skies with UberJET. From May 12th to the 15th, a partnership between Uber and GOODWILL Private Jets will allow Uber app users in Paris and Nice the option to request transportation by UberJET.
With this option, travellers can arrange transport for three other passengers and specify where they should be picked up by car. From there, travellers will be driven to the Bourget airport, flown to Nice and driven to the red carpet at Cannes. An UberJET flight costs about $9,000, which can be divided among travellers with an in-app request to split the fare.
Considering that this is a limited offering from Uber, it's a pretty grand way to arrive in style at Cannes.
