Commercial weight management program WW is introducing its first-ever ready-to-consume canned coffee drinks in the form of flavorful lattes that are free from artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors and preservatives. The conveniently packaged drinks share about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee yet also offer a source of protein and fiber. While the flavors like the single-serve Café Latte and Mocha Latte can be enjoyed straight from the can, the creamy formulas can also be chilled for extra enjoyment.
WW assigns a SmartPoints value based on calories, sugar, protein and saturated fat, and the new ready-to-drink coffee beverages share just three SmartPoints per serving, which is said to be eight points lower than the marketplace average.
