There's a new candy ad from M&M's and it's the first one of its kind from the brand that makes the most of augmented reality technology. The AR print advertisement features the brand's newly released M&M’s Mix bags, which share a sampling of popular flavors. There's a Classic Mix with chocolate, peanut and peanut butter pieces, plus a brand-new Peanut Mix with flavors like milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate.
The ads include Snapcodes that can be scanned to animate the poster and bring the colorful candy characters to life. the print ad gives fans a look at the colored candies trying to escape from their bag and it echoes the trapped feeling that people of all ages are feeling after spending extended periods of time at home.
