Canon Lab's 'Camera Simulator' is an easy way for photographers to rifle through dozens of equipment tests in minutes rather than having to spend time and money on rentals and trips to various photography outlets. 'Camera Simulator' is a VR experience made by Canon, the famed camera and lens manufacturer, that allows consumers to test the company's products in an immersive world.
Camera Simulator offers several different scenes in which users can test the virtual camera features. It's important that the system offer a variety of scenes, as this gives consumers the opportunity to test the cameras under different conditions (e.g. varying levels of light, with moving subjects, etc.)
The VR app currently offers tests for three of Canon's camera bodies and three of its lenses, meaning that there are nine different combinations in all.
